Aphrodite’s Temple 2009: A Love Goddess Workshop
with Lucy Cavendish & Suzanne Naseby

Aphrodite is a deity of freedom and sexuality, of strength and passion, of personal beauty & self-love. When we recreate her Temple, self-love grows within and the world begins to love us back ...

Join Lucy Cavendish and Suzanne Naseby as we welcome Aphrodite and your own patron Love Goddess.

Together we will learn the keys to loving ourselves and others, creating beautiful opportunities, attracting wonderful partners, developing romantic intuition, unfolding your sensual expression and experiencing the blessings of True Love in your life.

You will discover how society, family and culture create for us our personal romantic fairytales ... and how we can revision and recreate more meaningful romantic stories that can serve us in our journey toward finding True Love!

Connecting with Aphrodite will assist in recreating our relationship with ourselves, and to move forward into relationships where we are loved, respected, and revered as women.
Wendy Rule
To help you connect with Aphrodite, your own inner Love Goddess, we will use ritual, guided visualisation, and create for yourself your own love oracle cards using the SoulCollage® process which uses the simple art of collage, a multi-levelled, creative process which anyone can do.

SoulCollage: ReDiscover your Soul's Essence
with Suzanne Naseby
SoulCollage® is a process through which you contact your intuition and begin to create an incredible deck of cards which have deep personal meaning and which will help you with life's questions. In essence - your own personal oracle cards!

This is a multi-leveled, creative process which anyone can do.

These cards are arranged in suits to facilitate self-exploration and encourage self-acceptance. Creating and ‘reading’ your SoulCollage cards is fun, insightful and an amazing tool to assist you in rediscovering your soul's essence.

An opportunity to explore, heal, and transform the Self through the fun and simple art of collage.

The SoulCollage process works with symbols, images, the chakras, animal companions and archetypes to discover the ongoing "story of you." Every card is unique and personal, forming a visual journal that you can continue on your own.

Visit the website for information about SoulCollage® www.soulcollage.com
"Suzanne is a very astute and insightful woman and counsellor. My few sessions with her left me with a greater self confidence and understanding that as a woman I am in control of my life. Each week she set me a little task/challenge to work on whatever I was dealing with and I found that especially helpful." Clare, Sydney
ONE DAY WORKSHOP

We all possess the wisdom we need to solve our troubles.

• relationships
• family
• work
• health
• addiction
• body image
• general happiness

There are many areas of our life were we can feel stuck, where we feel something is blocking us from manifesting our deepest desires, our true intent. We recognise we are often caught in old patterns of thinking about and reacting to what our life unfolds for us.

Finding a fresh perspective of our self, our life and the troubles we experience can be the key to finding our wisdom and the answers we are looking for.

This one day workshop is an opportunity to find what you are looking for, your Wise Self!

The SoulCollage® process is a multi-levelled tool to assist you on your journey of rediscovery.

On the day you will start making your own amazing Soul cards by selecting images, cutting them out and pasting them onto pieces of blank card.

Each SoulCollage® card you make will reflect one facet of your Self - your Soul. These facets will speak to you and the words you hear will be your own Divine Wisdom. Over time, as you make more cards, the evolving deck will reflect your many aspects, the extraordinary panorama which is ‘you’ as a whole Being.

The workshop includes:
• Guidance on how to make the cards
• All the materials you need to make cards
• A guided visualisation to assist you in finding inspiration for cards
• Learning how to work with your cards
• Working in small groups to explore your card meanings

"I really enjoyed the workshop on Sunday. Thank you so much. Your presentation was wonderful and it was so nurturing to be in the group environment, making cards and doing readings." SUNDARI

Skeletons & Dirty Linen: How to Write an Authentic Life Story
with Eileen Naseby & Suzanne Naseby
Most of the facts and events of our lives are merely the framework within which our real living gets done. In order to tell an authentic life story we have to go beyond the periphery and find the realities that have actually shaped the core of who we are. Sometimes the truth we discover can be quite unpalatable, but it is also what makes it the most compelling reading.

A serious examination of our lives will reveal all these complexities as well as a multiplicity of unique stories. In order to be able to share our experiences we need to understand how the specific threads of our family history have contributed to our own particular story.

This 2 day workshop (2 consecutive Sundays) allows for an exploration of multigenerational family patterns and 'characters' motivations, as well as ongoing support to assist in developing your own personal creative writing style. Running 2 consecutive Sundays allows for 'homework' and reviewing of writing.

We will work individually and in small groups. With methods such as the genogram, which is used in Family of Origin Therapy, to show you how to pinpoint the influential ‘characters’ and ‘events’ in your family history. In the writing sessions Eileen will demonstrate how to tell your life story in an interesting way using creative writing techniques and exercises.
"It was a workshop like no other I've attended before, raw, revealing, and well worth it."
Helen, Sydney

"I had no idea I could write like that, the emotions that were present on the page truly surprised me." Katrena, Sydney
At the end of this workshop you will have the beginnings of a structure for your book and some short pieces of writing inspired by recovered memories and your own creativity.

These workshops are suitable for those who have just begun their memoir, as well as those who are at a more advanced stage.

Yule Retreat: Realm of the Dragonfae ...
with Lucy Cavendish & Suzanne Naseby
Light a candle in the dark
See its flicker spring to life
Bring the sun to his rebirth
Now is heaven found on earth

We invite you to join us in a weekend of transformation, change and a celebration of mid winter.

Be reborn, as we gather to farewell the darknesses and invoke and birth the light. Yule is the Winter Solstice, the ancient festival that activates the rebirth of the sun. The longest night of the year, Yule, or Winter Solstice and is one of the great doorways into magick.

At this powerful time, we can energetically reawaken and rebirth our selves, by intentionally returning the light into the world, and into our own hearts.

Join us for a weekend steeped in ceremony, ritual, divination and candle magicks!

This Yule retreat will also be a wonderful opportunity for you to welcome in and work with the energy of the Dragonfae, to deepen your understanding who they are, and learn how to read the Oracle of the Dragonfae simply, deeply and magickally. This inspiring retreat is a truly magickal opportunity to harness and renew your own vital life force.

There will be outdoor ceremony, and indoor work.
“Thank-you for such a wonderfull weekend, I’m still buzzing from it!” Natalie

“I was extremely impressed with the accomodation ... the surroundings were ideal,
and the food was yum! My first real experience of an Oak tree and the token ‘owl’ ”

The Mysteries & Magick of Avalon Retreat 2009
with Lucy Cavendish & Suzanne Naseby
The Grove ...

Awaken the Priestess who dwells within you. Join us in this sacred, magickal and private natural landcape, in a beautiful retreat centre, with delicious wholesome foods to help support your journey and its magicks.

By working with Avalon’s Goddess energies and druid mysteries, you will reactivate your own innate powers, and bring a new level of awareness, beauty and purpose to all that you do, making the everyday enchanted and sacred.

Meet and be attuned to Merlin, the Lady of the Lake, the Goddesses and Gods and the Priestesses of Avalon ... you will learn to part the mists and walk again on the shores of this fabled realm in this two day retreat.

We will work in the Priestess and Druidic traditions: earth-based, sacred, connected to the earthly and galactic cycles.
You will learn to work with the powers of the four sacred objects of power. Experience the power and magick of stone circles and sacred sites, and learn to speak with the mighty oaks and sacred trees. (Yes, there is a true oak at the retreat centre)

“I know you will feel peace, safety, joy once you have parted the mists and stepped upon the shores of Avalon once again. You will go on to create powerful change when you listen to her voice, feel her love, experience her wisdom, and activate her power,” says Lucy.

Avalon is the sacred Celtic faeryland of enchantment, magicks, and power ... the world we dwell in is yearning for her Wisdom, calling for her children to fully embrace their sacred selves ... now, she is calling you home.

This residential offers the opportunity for those women who have attended previous Avalon retreats to return and journey deeper into her own path of the priestess .

Shamanic Pathways
facilitated by Suzanne Naseby and Yeshi Eperjesi

Shamanism is the original religion. The ‘rediscovery’ of shamanic practice may be one of the most important spiritual developments of our era.

Shamanic Pathways offers men and women an opportunity to walk the ancient path of the shaman while bringing awareness and experience of 21st century living. Contemporary shamanism merges the wealth of shamanic practises, as we know it, passed down through time from countless traditions around the globe.

In this way Shamanic Pathways is essentially a soul centred practise that brings a conscious connection to the diverse healing powers of nature, spirit energy and the human psyche. It is a personal practise incorporating the traditional way of the shaman with creative and intuitive ways of bringing wellbeing, guidance, empowerment and the expansion of consciousness.

Shamanic Pathways is an experiential workshop designed to offer a progressive and practical introduction to contemporary shamanic practise.

We believe these practises can potentially become a way of life, influencing and informing all areas of modern living.

Over this upcoming weekend participants are introduced to core methods of how shamanic practise can assist us to enter non-ordinary reality for purpose of spiritual fulfilment, problem solving and healing.

The Shamanic Pathways weekend will include:
Shamanic journeying - The shaman’s journey explores the hidden regions of the Otherworlds. Participants experience shamanic journeying, aided by drumming and other trance techniques, to drop into the shamanic state of consciousness and awaken dormant spiritual abilities, including connections with Nature.

Working with Power Animals - Many shamanic traditions suggest that we are assisted throughout our lives by the essence of various animals. These are often called Power Animals or Totem Animals. Discovering and working with these energies can assist us to connect with the essence of Nature as guide, advisor, and healer.

Making a Medicine Bag - These are ancient items used in many shamanic traditions to spiritually represent and aid the person who wears it. They contain gifts from Nature and the Otherworlds that are spiritually significant.

While shamanism is a timeless and ancient tradition it is not unchanged by human development and understandings. This course offers an introduction to core shamanic beliefs and experiences as a stepping-stone for continuing to deepen the journey through solo exploration and events such as our upcoming Sacred Questing weekend in Sept and Shamanic Pathways residential in Oct.

The wisdom and healing of Shamanic Pathways is available to all who choose to tread this ancient path.
